Claire + Logan were wed on the most beautiful September day on her family's private residence. I remember strolling up and saying "whoa" out loud. From the rolling green hills, to the pecan trees adorned with hundreds of paper cranes, to the interior of her parent's bangin' (seriously though) house. We arrived early + good Lord was I grateful for that. The art! The books! (leave me in a bookstore to die. I could sit with a book for hours upon hours). It was absolutely the most perfect setting for their wedding day.
We were welcomed in like family. Claire wrapped her arms around us + poured us the tallest mimosa I have ever had (keep 'em coming forever!) The love that was felt from their family + friends surrounded us all day long. Their wedding never actually felt like work; it felt like one big hangout session with old friends and we just so happened to have our gear on us snapshotting the day.
Claire + Logan recited their own vows and they had everyone in attendance tearing up (can we please discuss that ceremony site? DREAMS). Their love for one another was so rich. Something that some people never have the luck of finding. You could see it in the way they looked at each other, spoke to each other, held each other.
Thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your day! Beyond an honor to have been there, captured your moments, + gotten to know you both better as a whole. Some of my favorite highlights from the day :)

Only fitting that I kick off this revamping of my website with a blog so dear to my heart. Ladies + gentlemen, meet Jessica. Otherwise, known to me as my "YESSica." She is the queen supreme hair guru to all things my mane of blonde locks. I first met Jessica back when our daughters were in the same first grade classroom. On parent meeting night, she said I stuck out like a sore thumb thanks to my all black attire + jet black cat eyeliner. (forever + ever, Amen) She said she knew immediately I wasn't your regular mom (was that your way of saying I was a cool mom?! BLESS!)
From that day forward, we instantly connected. From playdates, to countless hours spent at dance rehearsal + recitals, to hot summer days sipping champagne on pizza floats at her pool (bougie, i know). From sushi nights with the girls, to inside jokes (brussels sprouts or vanilla ice cream). From wild nights at your Bachelorette party, to jumping in your Aunt's pool at 3am and waking the neighbors (I'm still so sorry about that! it did feel amazing though...). From laughing so hard our eyes water, to holding each other + lifting each other up in our lowest of lows.
One thing I recognized in Jessica when we first met was that she was still searching for her one. And when she first began telling me about Matt, I knew that she finally met her forever. The way her face lit up anytime she spoke of him or whenever he was mentioned. It's amazing to watch someone you know and care about finally find their person. Finally find their partner that they will share forever with.
We traveled down to Wormsloe Plantation in Savannah, Georgia for Jessica's stunning bridal portraits. Thank you so much for asking me to do this for you + document this moment of change + beauty in your life. I'm so honored to be called on of your friends, Yessica. You mean the absolute world to me.
